I had been thinking about this sad state of affairs in our country about more than 100000 deaths related to drug overdose according to the CDC ( Center for Disease Control ) .
What can be done and what needs to be done to prevent this EPIDEMIC.
Pandemic took mostly the life of the seniors and those with chronic diseases.
The drug epidemic targets our younger population.
The entry of drugs from all the borders and via all routes land , sea and air to be stopped by the government. Obviously the government is unable to do it. Plus at present its priority is more to defeat Russia rather than defeat this epidemic of drug overdose.
My suggestion is to those who need spiritual help to fight this drug overdose and drug addiction problem they should take it.
One of things to do is accept the principle of Sufi Islam. which is to Love the One Universal God of Mankind and to love Mankind for the love of God.
Very Very Simple.
Now one of the principles of Islam and its core values are :Truthfulness and being Trustworthy.
As soon as one accepts this core principle one God of all, becomes a Muslim and will need to avoid drugs ,as it is a big NO No in Islam. May be this is a good answer and it costs nothing.
Try the beauty of Islam read for yourself and think about it. if it makes sense adopt it and prevent your young ones from dying of drug overdose. ( God willingl)
